Tidewater Camera Club Exhibition Winners

The results are in for the winning entries of the Tidewater Camera Club exhibition at DCA. Judging for the exhibition was done by Sahm Dougherty-Sefton, who was the first woman photographer on the masthead of Time magazine, where she remained for more than 25 years. Currently she resides in St. Michaels. Judging was based on the criteria of technical ability, style, and emotion.

First Place: Boat & Shanty, by Chris Jewett

Second Place: Blackwater Waterway by Janet Kerr

Third Place: Unrest by Jack Upchurch

The Tidewater Camera Club has been the home for photographers on the Eastern Shore of Maryland since 1963. This club is about celebrating great images, sharing knowledge, and enjoying the company of other people who love photography. A virtual Artists’ Reception was held on Saturday February 20, via Facebook Live. Included was a tour of the exhibit and talk with first place winning photographer Chris Jewett.
