A Celebration of Fine Art, Creativity, and Community

Join Dorchester Center for the Arts for Showcase 2026, a juried arts festival celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Showcase in historic Downtown Cambridge.

Held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Showcase features exceptional artwork, regional artists and artisans, live entertainment, creative organizations, and the popular Chalk Walk, where artists of all ages turn downtown sidewalks into colorful outdoor art.

This rain-or-shine event highlights fine arts, artistic excellence, and the creative spirit of our region.

Vendor Participation

Showcase 2026 welcomes artist vendors, food vendors, and community information booths. All vendors must submit an application for review before participating.

Early-Bird Deadline: Friday, August 7, 2026
Final Application Deadline: Friday, September 4, 2026
Notification Date: By Friday, September 11, 2026

Applications submitted after August 7 will include a $10 late registration fee. No applications will be accepted after September 4.

Dorchester Showcase – Vendor & Artist Eligibility Guidelines.

To help ensure a smooth and successful event for all participants, applicants should meet the following basic criteria:

Original Work or Clearly Described Products
Artists and vendors must offer original, handmade work or clearly describe the products they intend to sell. Mass-produced items, materials, and resale items are not allowed.
Representative Images
Applicants must provide 1-3 photos that accurately reflect the type and quality of work or handmade products they plan to bring.
Professional Booth Presentation
Vendors should be prepared to maintain a clean, safe, and visually organized booth space suitable for a public outdoor event.
Readiness for Outdoor Setup
Applicants must provide their own setup (tent, tables, weights, etc., as required) and be prepared for typical outdoor conditions.
Complete Application
All required application fields must be completed, including contact information, description of work, and any requested documentation.
Timely Payment
Accepted applicants will be notified by email from showcase@dorchesterarts.org. Participation is confirmed only after full payment is received by the deadline established by the Dorchester Center for the Arts in that email.
