Jazzy Valentine’s Concert

Second Saturday February 12:  “Songs of Love and Happiness” with musicians Linda Harris, Felipe Paccagnella, and Chuck Ferrell. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 per person and may be purchased online at www.dorchesterarts.org. Proceeds benefit Dorchester Center for the Arts and The Harriet Tubman Museum. Linda is a singer and songwriter who performs regularly with the Light Switch Band. She and Felipe Paccagnella have written and recorded ten original songs. Linda performs on Delmarva in jazz clubs, festivals, and special events as well as clubs and festivals in New Orleans, New York, Myrtle Beach, South Florida, and abroad in Panama, Paris, and Venice.

Felipe is an artist based in Columbia MD who composes, arranges, produces, mixes, and sometimes masters various works for artists all over the world. He also performs professionally playing piano, guitar, bass, drums and vocals. He has performed at festivals and venues large and small. Felipe is the composer, arranger and director for the Light Switch Band.

Chuck Ferrell, often referred to as, “the quiet drummer,” has performed with jazz, Motown, rock and country artists all over the world. Hailing from Danville, Virginia, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he studied private drum instruction with drummer Clarence Penn and jazz ensemble under the tutelage of jazz legend, Ellis Marsalis. Chuck has delivered electrifying performances with Melba Moore, Mary Wilson, Kevin Walker, Lafayette Gilchrist, Moe Daniels, Alex Brown, Damon Foreman, Scott Paddock, Keter Betts and Gary Grainger.
