Our study plan will include designing a variety of compositions based on a landscape image, as well as practice with classic watercolor techniques.  Please bring a photo that motivates you.  I’ll also bring several photos and finished paintings that may inspire.

In the afternoon, we’ll work on a larger painting, based on our selected composition.

If you plan to participate, you should bring a limited palette of primary (a red, blue, and yellow) colors, a small journal, and a 9×12 watercolor sheet.  If you are new to watercolor, I’ll have simple materials available for purchase at a modest price.
