In this free workshop for Middle and High school students, we explore the Music of the movement and Movement of the
music! World renowned dancer/choreographer, and teaching artist, Kwame Shaka
Opare will teach percussive dance sequences derived from his years as lead cast
member of the hit Broadway show STOMP! and his extensive work choreographing South African Bootdance and other forms of percussive dance.
