(New Day/Time from 9/11 because of weather) At pre-sunrise on September 18, meet onsite at Blackwater Refuge. This workshop will provide tips and info on photographing a sunrise, and also photographing wildlife.

Sunrise is a great time for two reasons: there’s usually a fair amount of wildlife activity (think eagles, osprey, egrets, herons, turtles, sika deer, and maybe even a muskrat); and the quality of light is amazing and constantly changing, 

Starting time is 6am. Sunrise is at 6:43 am. In addition, on this day the moon will set at 7:52 am, and you’ll have the opportunity to photograph the almost-full moon in a beautiful setting.
