Quilling, also known as paper filigree, is the art of rolling and manipulating narrow strips of paper and then shaping them to make the most exquisite designs. In this one-day workshop, students will master the basics of quilling and walk away with a set of finished greeting cards. All required materials are provided. Open to ages 16 and up.

Joy is originally from Wales, UK, and has lived in Cambridge for 30 years. She owned and operated Joie de Vivre Gallery on Race Street from 2000-2015. Art was her minor in college and now retired, she enjoys making and designing art that has a practical use such as wearable art including jewelry. Using quilling, she makes greeting cards and jewelry. Quilling is an art form that uses strips of paper to create decorative designs.
