This writing-intensive, learner-centered course will focus on reading a diverse range of stories, discussion of fictional techniques, and writing and revising a story. We will share parts of your stories in progress not for critique, but for positive feedback. Among topics covered will be how to write effective action, dialogue, description. Ways to integrate flashbacks and utilize time. Voice, tone, and theme.
