Art in the Park – Free Arts Fun for Kids!

This summer Dorchester Center for the Arts is presenting “Art in the Park”, a series of hands-on arts experiences for all ages at parks in Dorchester County. DCA educators and volunteers are traveling with supplies and instructors to several county parks. Activities are held at one park each week, daily from 10:00 a.m. – noon, at no charge for participation. All are welcome and no registration is required. Thanks to Dorchester County Parks and Rec for their support.

Through July 2, the program will be held in Cambridge, at the pavilion next to the tennis courts on Glasgow Street. July 5-9, the program is held in Hurlock, at the pavilion next to Hurlock Athletic Complex, between MD Route 392 and Poplar Street. The final week, July 12-16, the program will be held in Church Creek, at the park on Church Creek Road, Route 16.
Additional activities for youth, adults and families will be offered this summer at DCA, from multi-week classes to one-day workshops. Visit online at www.dorchesterarts.org for complete program catalog or stop by 321 High Street in Cambridge.
