Lillian Pennypacker

Lillian is an interdisciplinary artist, educator and curator, and her artwork spans across painting, sculpture and photography. Her most recent sculptural artworks are inspired by Scagliola, an plaster based technique known as imitation marble. Her sculptures take the form of natural formations and archeological relics.

 

In 2024, she received an MFA in Interdisciplinary Studio Art from the School of the Museum of Fine Art at Tufts University. She is two-time recipient of the Tufts University Montague International Travel Grant and was awarded as an Exhibitions Fellow at the Tufts University Art Galleries. She holds a BA in Fine Arts from the American University of Rome, and her studies in Italy garnered her classical approach to oil painting and sculpture.
