Carole Gemeny Scott: For the Love of Art and Family, A Tribute Exhibition

This special exhibition is a tribute to the late Carole Gemeny Scott. Scott was a multi-media artist who mostly enjoyed painting flowers, landscapes, and still life in watercolor, but also displayed talent in pencil/charcoal and other mediums. She was a student of Barbara Zuehlke’s Intermediate Watercolor Class at the Dorchester Center for the Arts for many years, which was her second home and family.

Scott left a legacy which inspired many of her family members to explore their creative side. Her children, Doug, Beth, and Kevin, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and close friends, take us on a journey through a lifetime of Carole Gemeny Scott’s love of art, from her high school years to just days before her passing in August of 2023.

Second Saturday Artist’s Reception will be held on March 9 from 5:00-7:00 pm, featuring light refreshments and live music with Zoe Michelle Bradshaw and David Raizen.
