Shark Sauce started with a simple idea; incorporate local art, produce, and businesses into a single product. Each bottle features a unique comic done by local artists that incorporate Shark Sauces mascot Clark the Shark. With help from talented local artist Dennis Kurth, the image and branding of Shark Sauce was created in October of 2021. Dennis has created all the amazing logos for Shark Sauce and has also done most of the comics featured on the Shark Sauce bottles. Matt Brady wanted to incorporate his love for fresh flavors and his love of artwork into something simple and incorporate other local businesses along the journey. Over the course of Shark Sauces’ short existence, he has been able to do just that, by using local art, and locally grown produce and working with local small businesses to do new and exciting projects. Also, Shark Sauce has teamed up with local comic store Kravens Comics to create the exclusive Villainous Verde sauce that is made and sold right here in Cambridge Maryland. Using fresh and local ingredients has been a focus of Shark Sauce right from the beginning so using produce from local farms such as Harris Farms, Emily’s Produce, and Roundstone Farms has been a key mission for the company.
