Dorchester Center for the Arts welcomes the Brown Quilters Create and Educate group for this new exhibit entitled “A World of Textiles.” This show offers a little of everything made with fiber! Quilts, wearable arts, rugs, baskets, bowls, and dolls. Brown Quilters Create and Educate is a Facebook group for quilters and fiber artists. Their mission is to provide a community for members to participate in swaps and sew-a-longs as well as to offer classes taught by member volunteers. Their motto, “each one teach one” has created a fun and exciting fellowship.

This exhibit is coordinated by group members Deborah Johnson and Candice Salter.
