In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of drawing and develop the ability to see as an artist. Students will draw from observation using a variety of subjects including still life, landscape and occasionally figure. Instruction is provided on how to use line, value, gesture, and perspective. Using graphite, charcoal and pastels, learn about contrast, form, composition, and process. Materials list available at DCA at time of registration.
