Observational Drawing with Emily H. Thomas

Spend six weeks studying how your eyes see rather than what your brain tricks you into seeing. Students in this course will study the foundations of drawing from observation with Emily H. Thomas, a recent MFA graduate and adjunct professor at UNC Chapel Hill. Classes will focus on topics such as gesture, composition, perspective, and value using items around the home, rooms in the home, and the landscape out our windows. Materials list will be available upon registering for the class.
