Learn how to observe and draw objects from life, in a realistic style. The instructor will provide exercises for a step-by-step approach to learning observational drawing. Working in pencil and charcoal, students will learn skills for creating a successful basic drawing. Open to ages 16 and up. Students will be taught the following:

How to make accurate contour line drawings of objects, how to identify forms and shapes, how to understand the importance of object relationships, how to establish scale and other relationships between objects.
