For All Ages 9 & Up

Paco’s workshops give participants an overview of the Arte en Estambre technique and make connections to Mexican artistic and cultural traditions. Arte en Estambre are artworks on wood surfaces that are covered with two types of wax (from Mexico) onto which yarn is pressed, cut, shaped, one-by-one, into an intricate original artwork. Participants will create their own pressed yarn work of art on a pre-cut flat surface using materials only available in Mexico.
