Showcase Street Festival & Chalk Walk!
Sunday September 28, 2025, the annual Dorchester Center for the Arts Showcase event returns, keeping with last year’s new route that takes this art walk and street festival into the historic downtown Arts & Entertainment District. This event features art and food vendors, nonprofit organizations, and live music and dance. The event takes place from noon until 5:00 p.m. and is DCA’s way of “Celebrating our Creative Community.” The family-friendly free arts event is held rain or shine. The generous support of the Nathan Foundation, the Maryland State Arts Council, and the staff and volunteers of DCA have helped present this event for 49 years.
New for 2025 – Chalk Walk! All ages can enjoy chalking in a designated area along the route, and sponsorships are available. Prizes awarded in several categories!
