Description of Exhibition: An invitational and juried exhibit of artwork in various mediums.
Two and three-dimensional work is eligible. Open to all artists.

Dorchester Center for the Arts celebrates the creative contributions, achievements, and rich legacies (past and current) made by African Americans. We encourage both professional and amateur artists to submit artwork that’s inspired by or created by African Americans, including youth artists
between the ages 14 and 17. The submitted artworks will be selected by a panel of jurors and
featured in the “Celebrating Black Achievement” exhibition in February 2024!

Deadline:
Entry Deadline is Monday, January 8, 2024.
Artists will be notified of their acceptance on or before January 12, 2024. If accepted, a
curator will follow up with any additional information regarding time of set-up, etc.
