Description:

From the Artist: I will demonstrate basic wheel throwing techniques in the general session, it will consist of throwing medium to large size bowls and medium to large vases and/or bottles.

A second session will be geared toward advanced students that will consist of centering, opening, raising, pulling of cylinders and transforming them into finished products. We will also explore forming and fitting lids, pulling handles and creating pouring spouts. Additionally, we will explore trimming and finishing techniques commonly used in pottery making.

This workshop blends yoga-based strength and balance training to help participants build functional stability, confidence, and body awareness in a supportive environment. It is intended for adults of all ages and experience levels, especially those seeking improved balance, joint-friendly strength, and mindful movement.
