Throwing on the Wheel with Robert Gladney

If you have a real passion for creativity, then pottery is a great way to express it.
This class is for both beginners and those with experience that want to improve their skills.
Beginners will receive step by step instruction on the pottery wheel so that you can create a simple and unique piece of pottery.
If you have previous experience this is an opportunity to practice and refine simple forms and explore more complex shapes. You will gain more experience of throwing, trimming, attachments, alterations, finishing and glazing. You will be supplied with 25 pounds of clay for building multiple pieces. The class includes all tools and materials required to make your piece and includes a bisque firing three weeks following your last class. You may also bring your own tools. Following this class, students will have the experience needed to work on their own with open studio time.
We affectionately call this studio the mud room. Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Leave your daily stresses at the door and have some fun.
